Summary: The Engineering Manager will lead the Estates Maintenance Team at Northampton General Hospital, focusing on mechanical and electrical engineering systems to enhance carbon reduction through renewable technologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Estates Maintenance Team in delivering planned and reactive maintenance works.
• Oversee the implementation of the Trust's pre-planned maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and HTM guidelines.
• Manage service contracts and ensure delivery to agreed standards.
• Conduct routine, reactive, and remedial maintenance, and manage minor works and projects.
• Perform risk management updates, health and safety inspections, and audits.
• Attend internal governance and stakeholder meetings.
• Participate in out-of-hours duty manager rota and support engineering activities during scheduled tests and shutdowns.
