Summary: The Engineering Manager role is a hybrid position based in London, focused on leading the migration of a Product Information Management (PIM) system to a SaaS solution. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of STIBO STEP from on-premise to SaaS, developing integration patterns tailored to STIBO’s SaaS architecture.
- Serve as the key liaison between internal teams and STIBO’s vendor ecosystem, aligning on interfaces, customisation, and roadmap integration.
- Manage engineering teams through the full product lifecycle, ensuring operational stability of delivered solutions.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years in software engineering and delivery, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Expertise in PIM/MDM platforms, hands-on experience with STIBO STEP, and a proven track record in migrating enterprise applications to SaaS.
- Proficiency in Java 17+ (Java 21 preferred), Micronaut, Spring Boot, JUnit, Mockito, Gradle, Kafka, MongoDB, GraphQL Federation, REST, Terraform, OpenTelemetry, and Dynatrace.
- Exceptional communication skills, experienced in managing third-party vendor relationships, and demonstrated ability to lead distributed engineering teams.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Background in large-scale retail and ecommerce environments.
