Summary: The Engineering Manager at Ophelos will lead the Growth domain, overseeing three squads focused on expanding the company's innovative AI-driven debt management solutions across 17 European countries. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to drive team performance, recruitment, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will shape the technical direction and culture of the engineering team while ensuring alignment with business objectives. This is a fixed-term contract position for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction of Growth Engineering by managing team leads and ensuring high performance.
- Drive recruitment efforts to grow and retain top engineering talent.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
- Represent Growth Engineering at the management level, driving collaboration and ensuring departmental goals contribute to overall success.
- Own and refine departmental processes for scalability and efficiency.
- Mentor team members to ensure technical excellence and raise engineering standards.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
