Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers.
  • Help the engineers grow their skills and experience.
  • Author project plans for epics.
  • Run agile project management processes.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members on technical contributions, product architecture, and other areas.
  • Maintain empathy for the team by keeping awareness of engineering processes and practices.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of technical stories while working with scrum teams.
  • Responsible for story-based design, development & local test and adherence to all coding standards.
  • Lead the team into delivery of high-quality code.
  • Contribute strongly in all agile ceremonies to maintain high velocity.
  • Support the team technically and culturally to achieve all targets.
  • Strong familiarity with Jira and Confluence; knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Integration & Delivery.
  • Contribute to and design delivery discussions, managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Background in development, specifically with Java microservices and API.
  • Generate and implement process improvements.
  • Hold regular 1:1s with team members and provide clear feedback on performance.
  • Foster technical decision-making within the team while making final decisions when necessary.
