Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching on advanced manufacturing programmes in line with Apprenticeship standards.
  • Contributing to the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of the curriculum.
  • Preparing and marking assessments, providing meaningful feedback to apprentices.
  • Embedding the delivery of maths and English throughout the curriculum.
  • Conducting Apprentice performance reviews and setting high-quality targets.
  • Producing reports and data on Apprentice progress and monitoring performance.
  • Participating in Apprentice interviews, enrolment, induction, and enrichment activities.
  • Developing an inclusive blended learning approach using CANVAS.

Key Skills:

  • A teaching qualification is mandatory.
  • Experience in developing blended learning resources and delivery on a VLE platform.
  • Experience delivering on Aero and Aviation or Advanced Manufacturing Engineering programmes up to Level 4.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to develop innovative teaching resources.
  • Recent experience of teaching and mentoring.
  • Passion for teaching apprenticeship standards in the employer provider sector.
