Summary: An opportunity exists for a Subsea Work Coordinator to join a global energy company, focusing on supervising and coordinating subsea and offshore construction activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe, high-performance, and cost-effective operations throughout all subsea activities.
- Oversee installation engineering readiness, offshore schedules, and delivery of project materials.
- Supervise and coordinate cable-laying, trenching works, diving activities, load-out operations, and pre-commissioning and drying of subsea pipelines.
- Coordinate SIMOPS when necessary and act as the main contact for offshore supervisors during operations.
- Maintain effective communication with project vessels and offshore platforms/jack-ups.
- Keep detailed records of vessel activity, daily reports, incidents, and near-misses.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and standards.
Key Skills:
- University degree in engineering or a relevant scientific discipline.
- Qualifications in Project or Construction Management.
- Extensive experience in marine operations, offshore installation, and diving works.
- Strong understanding of managing jack-up site assessment requirements and associated processes.
- Awareness of the challenges and opportunities linked to the industry transition from oil and gas to low-carbon solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (other languages a plus).
