Summary: The Engineering BOM Coordinator at Armstrong Fluid Technology is responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy of product Bill of Materials (BOM) within the engineering and manufacturing environment. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure that BOM information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date, thereby supporting efficient production and successful product development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the BOM, including version control, tracking changes, and ensuring alignment with engineering and production requirements.
  • Verify BOM information against engineering drawings and related documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Work closely with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to gather, validate, and disseminate BOM information.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in the BOM, working with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance BOM management processes, implementing improvements to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation related to BOMs, including updates, changes, and version history.
  • Act as a central point of contact for BOM-related queries, ensuring clear and timely communication across departments.
  • Ensure BOMs are completed in time for the planned production date, and report on completion.
  • Support Engineering Manager to create ETRS (Engineering Timing Release Structure) reports.
