Summary: The Engine & Vehicle Maintenance and Test Engineer role involves providing engineering maintenance support to test assets and equipment at the Advanced Propulsion Research laboratory in Coventry. Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of reactive equipment breakdowns, diagnose and rectify faults and implement long term solutions.
- Work as part of the facilities & maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient production performance within the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environment framework.
- Perform detailed preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with schedules.
Key Skills:
- Experience in a similar role with an Engine or Vehicle Test background.
- Good standard of practical electrical and mechanical principles.
- Ability to work to find root cause of failure in reactive maintenance scenarios and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Willingness to undertake projects/continuous improvement works in-line with business requirements.
- Able to record data and analyse trends in faults failures.
- Able to work in a team and unsupervised.
- Able to work a rotational shift pattern.

In this multi-skilled role, you will have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly skilled, dynamic facilities & maintenance team based at the Advanced Propulsion Research laboratory.
You’ll deliver excellence by providing engineering maintenance support to Engine and Vehicle test assets and equipment. Our test technologies include dynamometers, HVAC systems, fluid & gas conditioning and supply systems, safety critical monitoring systems and power distribution.
