Summary: The Energy Management Lead Engineer role involves supporting advanced vehicle programmes in the Midlands through the development of intelligent energy systems aimed at enhancing vehicle efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of intelligent, optimised energy nodes across vehicle programmes.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Identify and help remove delivery impediments and risks.
  • Foster collaboration across engineering and stakeholder teams.
  • Coordinate and contribute to vehicle efficiency attribute verification and data analysis.
  • Support governance of vehicle efficiency attributes, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with tools and methods teams to enhance attribute development.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives where applicable.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by the line manager.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Evidence of a methodical, structured approach to problem solving.

We are hiring on behalf of our customer for an exciting opportunity as an Energy Management Lead Engineer to support advanced vehicle programmes in the Midlands. This is an initial 12-month contract role, offering the chance to contribute to the development of intelligent, data-driven energy systems that enhance vehicle efficiency and performance in modern luxury vehicles. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering optimised energy conversion systems (energy nodes) that support real-world and homologated driving range and energy consumption targets. Operating within an Agile framework, you'll collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure successful programme delivery aligned with internal quality and attribute standards.
