Summary: The role of Endur Developer involves enhancing the Openlink Endur platform for a leading energy trading company, focusing on front-to-back trading operations across various commodities. The position offers a hybrid working model for UK-based candidates and fully remote options for those located elsewhere in Europe or internationally. The contract is initially set for six months, requiring expertise in Endur development and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Endur solutions while providing support throughout the software development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and customise Endur solutions using AVS, JVS, OpenComponents, and the VB Toolkit.
  • Leverage Connex Frameworks, including Openlink's Java Framework and TIBCO, to support integration and workflow automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable, robust Endur-based solutions.
  • Optimise existing architecture, ensuring stability, performance, and seamless integration across trading systems.
  • Provide hands-on support throughout the full software development life cycle.

Key Skills:

  • Proven Endur development experience, including AVS, JVS, OpenComponents, Connex Frameworks, and cMotion.
  • Strong understanding of physical and financial trading within Oil, Gas, Power, Emissions, and Metals.
  • Experience configuring exchange-traded and OTC products (futures, options, swaps, swaptions, forwards).
  • Familiarity with Endur data models, functional/deployment architectures, and product configuration.
  • Solid RDBMS knowledge - Oracle, SQL Server or Sybase.
  • Strong grasp of the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Prior work in energy trading and risk management environments is essential.
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing roles preferred.
