Key Responsibilities:

• Provide quality planned care across the endoscopy patient pathway.
• Support and assist the Endoscopy Practitioner Lead in managing care provision.
• Deliver care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures within own scope of practice.
• Participate in improving Essential Quality Requirements and Best Practice standards.
• Develop and enhance personal skills and knowledge in endoscopy care.

Key Skills:

• Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
• Basic and advanced competence/qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination.
• Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
• Teaching/Assessing/mentorship qualifications.
• Knowledge of standards and external bodies (CQC, GRS, JAG, HTM 01-06).
• ILS certification.
• Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
