Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority based in Greater Manchester who are seeking an Employment Law Group Leader to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details regarding this role. This role is on a full time 3 months contract with potential to extend and pays a competitive rate of:

PAYE (Inc.Hol) - £44.48 £48.87 per hour

Umbrella - £50.00-£55.00 per hour

Responsibilities as a Employment Law Group Leader:

  • Directly manage senior officers within the service, setting and monitoring challenging targets and ensuring the support and professional development of all officers reporting to them.
  • Review the allocation of work across all teams and coordinate workflows and work pressures to attain optimum performance across the teams.
  • Motivate and constantly improve service delivery of all teams to maintain high standards of performance by demonstrable strategic vision and proactive leadership.

About you as an Employment Law Group Leader:

  • Must be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with relevant employment law experience.
  • At least 3 years management skills.
  • Previous experience working within the public sector.
