Alexander Lloyd is delighted to be partnering with a well-known organisation, on the recruitment of an Employee Relations Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for all managing high volume ER casework and dealing with Trade Unions.

Duties:

  • Lead efforts to ensure consistency and effectiveness in both strategic and operational HR processes, promoting a positive employee experience by collaborating with the HR Leadership Team.
  • Provide expert HR support across the organisation, with a strong focus on employee relations, case management, and pay and reward.
  • Deliver high-quality professional advice and guidance while empowering HR staff and wider leadership to support managers in both formal and informal processes.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and support team development, ensuring all HR processes are efficient, consistently applied in line with policies, and clearly understood by HR Advisors.
  • Maintain the accuracy of HR systems and ensure that all HR activities are completed in accordance with departmental service level agreements.
  • Use HR data and reporting to identify trends, support the senior HR team with insightful analysis, and offer recommendations to enhance efficiency and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Regularly review team performance against agreed standards, taking proactive steps to uphold service quality and recognising team achievements where appropriate.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • MCIPD qualified or equivalent or with demonstrable relevant experience.
  • Significant experience and extensive knowledge of Employee Relations and UK Employment Law including case management through the tribunal process.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align people strategy with operational goals.
  • Significant experience in managing complex ER cases and supporting change.
  • Experience in unionised environments or with collective agreements.
