Summary: The EMC Tester role involves preparing and executing EMC test setups while ensuring compliance with test specifications. The position requires close collaboration with clients to address testing focuses and investigate failures, as well as maintaining clear test records and coordinating with testing teams. The contractor must be based in Portsmouth and eligible for BPSS clearance. This is a six-month contract with a requirement for on-site work 3-5 days a week depending on client activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare EMC test setup and execute testing according to specifications.
• Collaborate with clients to understand testing focuses and investigate EMC test failures.
• Engage with EMC test labs to ensure timely closure of test schedules.
• Log test setups and product conditions, maintaining clear test records.
• Review EMC test results and provide consolidated feedback to clients.
• Coordinate with the testing team and maintain test facilities.
• Monitor test equipment and report anomalies or faults.
• Familiarity with EMC testing equipment and standards for defense and aerospace.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with clients.
