Embedded Software Engineer
Summary: World Class Defence Organisation is seeking two Embedded Software Engineer subcontractors for an initial 12-month contract, likely to be extended. The position requires on-site work four days a week, from Monday to Thursday. The role is based in Stevenage and Bolton, with a competitive hourly rate offered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain embedded software for defence applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets project requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software design discussions.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues in a timely manner.
- Document software designs and processes for future reference.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Salary (Rate): £65 Hourly
