Key Responsibilities:

  • Install test equipment and perform tests on systems/subsystems to ensure their behavior is according to specifications.
  • Perform troubleshooting and first level quality inspection, including specimen testing, test procedures, and calibration of sensors.
  • Complete tests and associated documentation, including test report delivery and anomaly reports.
  • Prepare test facilities, calibrate sensors, and prepare testing documentation and reports.
  • Conduct first level quality inspection of specimens undergoing tests and initial troubleshooting in case of identified faults.

  • Solid understanding of the latest system testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using testing tools (RF simulator, spectrum analyzer).
  • Ability to organize activities to match project timelines and track bugs to closure.

Pay Rate: £260 per day inside IR35
Location: Portsmouth - onsite 5 days per week & it nvolves working in rotational shifts (6:00 AM-2:00 PM/2:00 PM-10:00 PM)

Job Description:

  • Install test equipment and perform test on systems/subsystems to ensure their behaviour are according to the specifications.
  • Perform trouble-shooting and first level Quality inspection
    Specimen to be tested, test procedures, test facilities, and when needed, calibrated sensors and installation procedures.
  • Test completion and associated documentation (test report delivery, anomalies reports ).

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • test facilities preparation, sensors calibration, testing documentation and report preparation, first level quality inspection of specimen undergoing test initial troubleshooting in case of faults identified

Your profile

  • Solid understanding of latest system testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using testing tools (Rf simulator, spectrum analyzer).
  • Ability to organize own activities to match project timeline and track bug to closure.
