Key Responsibilities:

  • Install test equipment and perform tests on systems/subsystems to ensure their behavior meets specifications.
  • Perform troubleshooting and first-level quality inspection.
  • Prepare specimens for testing, including test procedures and calibration of sensors.
  • Complete tests and associated documentation, including test reports and anomaly reports.
  • Prepare test facilities and documentation, including report preparation and quality inspection.
  • Conduct initial troubleshooting for identified faults.

Key Skills:

  • Solid understanding of the latest system testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using testing tools (RF simulator, Spectrum Analyzer).
  • Ability to organize activities to match project timelines and track bugs to closure.
  • Active Security Clearance (SC).

  • Role Title: Electronics Testing
  • Location: Portsmouth (5 days office) and involves working in rotational shifts (6:00 AM-2:00 PM/2:00 PM-10:00 PM)
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Pay-rate: £ 358 per day (PAYE through Umbrella)

Job Description:

  • Install test equipment and perform test on systems/subsystems to ensure their behaviour are according to the specifications.

  • Perform troubleshooting and first level Quality inspection

  • Specimen to be tested, test procedures, test facilities and when needed, calibrated sensors and installation procedures.

  • Test completion and associated documentation (test report delivery, anomalies report).

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • test facilities preparation

  • sensors calibration

  • testing documentation and report preparation

  • first level quality inspection of specimen undergoing test

  • initial troubleshooting in case of faults identified

Your profile

  • Aolid understanding of latest system testing methodologies.

  • Proficiency in using testing tools (Rf simulator, Spectrum Analyser).

  • Ability to organise own activities to match project timeline and track bug to closure.

  • Active SC
