Summary: The Electronic Verification & Validation Engineer role is a 12-month contract position based in Luton, focusing on supporting advanced Payloads products in the defence electronics sector. The engineer will engage in mission-critical Electronic Warfare systems, collaborating with industry experts to ensure successful technology delivery. Key responsibilities include producing documentation and managing verification and validation activities. The position requires strong knowledge of electronic hardware processes and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce key documentation including Test Reports, Integration & Trials Reports, and Security Management Reports.
- Support Verification and Validation (V&V) activities for advanced sub-systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during technical discussions.
- Manage technical documentation to support key design reviews and project milestones.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electronic hardware Verification and Validation processes.
- Understanding of Security principles in Information Warfare, Networking, Cryptography, and System Vulnerability.
- Effective communicator with the confidence to lead technical interchange discussions.
- Proficient in product data management tools (eg, Teamcenter, SharePoint, Confluence).
- Highly motivated with a proactive problem-solving mindset and excellent reporting skills.
- Eligible to obtain SC clearance for UK-caveated programmes.
