Summary: The Electronic Verification & Validation Engineer role is a 12-month contract position based in Luton, focusing on supporting advanced Payloads products within a leading defence electronics company. The engineer will engage in critical Verification and Validation activities for Electronic Warfare systems, collaborating with industry experts to ensure the successful delivery of next-generation technology. This position requires on-site presence, emphasizing the importance of direct involvement in mission-critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce key documentation including Test Reports, Integration & Trials Reports, and Security Management Reports.
- Support Verification and Validation (V&V) activities for advanced sub-systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during technical discussions.
- Manage technical documentation to support key design reviews and project milestones.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electronic hardware Verification and Validation processes.
- Understanding of Security principles in Information Warfare, Networking, Cryptography, and System Vulnerability.
- Effective communicator with the confidence to lead technical interchange discussions.
- Proficient in product data management tools (e.g., Teamcenter, SharePoint, Confluence).
- Highly motivated with a proactive problem-solving mindset and excellent reporting skills.
- Eligible to obtain SC clearance for UK-caveated programmes.
