Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands.
  • Improve maintenance-related non-productive time ratio of the Product Line's assets.
  • Maintain assigned equipment according to the maintenance program and reliability centred maintenance strategy.
  • Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems.
  • Comply with TLM Product Line standards.
  • Participate in reducing downtime due to maintenance and failures.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts for Maintenance Technicians' efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement CoSD projects for planned repair and reuse of parts.
  • Comply with the TLM Competency Management System.

Key Skills:

  • COMPEX certified Electronics or Electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and systems.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment and instrumentation.
  • Competency in reading and interpreting electrical/electronic schematics and technical drawings.
  • Understanding of control systems, sensors, and automation equipment.
  • Familiarity with digital and analogue electronics.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to install, calibrate, and maintain electronic systems and devices.

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Compex-certified Electronic Technician on behalf of a a leading global energy services client based in Aberdeen. Contract duration: 4-12 weeks depending on operations requirements Rates: £16.98-£22 p/h based on experience Duties of the role/Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands. Improve maintenance related non-productive time ratio of the Product Line's assets within the Maintenance Base (MB), and improves maintenance efficiency and people productivity. Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and compliant with the reliability centred maintenance strategy. Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM)business systems to record materials and supplies, labour costs and equipment maintenance performance history.. Comply with TLM Product Line standards. Participate in reducing downtime due to maintenance, parts and return authorization numbers, failures and work-in-process. Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians. Implement CoSD projects, such as the planned repair and reuse of parts. Comply with the TLM Competency Management System.
