Summary: BAE Systems is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join their engineering team in Broad Oak, focusing on analogue electronic hardware design and development. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed analogue circuit designs, including component selection, simulation, and schematic capture
- Collaborate with PCB layout teams and specify bespoke hardware
- Support design verification through simulation, analysis, and test (including EMC)
- Produce high-quality technical documentation and design reports
- Interface with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, including embedded software and PLD engineers
- Assist in developing system-level designs and technical requirements
- Participate in design reviews, system integration, and customer installation support
Key Skills:
- Strong background in analogue electronic design, including op-amps, transistors, control loops, and low-noise techniques
- Proven experience in component-level design for production
- Experience with design proving, defect resolution, and integration
- Ability to deliver within cost and time constraints
- Desirable: Experience in safety-related or defence environments and pressure sensor design
