Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned and preventative electrical maintenance.
• Diagnose and replace failed domestic electrical components.
• Respond to breakdowns and ensure compliance with Safe System of Work.
• Fault-find and problem-solve on domestic electrical systems.
• Undertake electrical installation activities according to design and IET Wiring Regulations.
• Test and inspect electrical installations per current IEE wiring regulations.
• Monitor and order critical spares for electrical services.
• Participate in the on-call rota after settling into the role.

Key Skills:

• Technical qualifications such as City & Guilds 2365 parts 1-3, BTEC, NVQ level 3 or above.
• Knowledge of BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations (18th or 19th Edition).
• Experience with Electrical Systems and Electricity at Work Regulations.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Capability to pass full prison security clearance and enhanced DBS.
• Valid passport or Full Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence.
• Proof of National Insurance and proof of address dated within the last 3 months.
• Ability to provide at least 2 satisfactory employment references.
