Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Perform electrical fault finding, repairs and installations.
- Complete inspection, testing and certification works.
- Work on pumps, motors, MCCs, control panels and associated MEICA equipment.
- Undertake electrical isolations and work in accordance with safe systems of work.
- Complete relevant site documentation and electrical certification.
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health, safety and quality standards.
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Experience
- ECS/JIB Gold Card.
- Previous industrial or MEICA experience.
- Experience working on pumping stations, water or wastewater infrastructure.
- Knowledge of motors, pumps, MCCs and control panels.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
