Summary: The role of Electrical Tester involves conducting electrical testing (EICRs) in social housing properties across the Manchester area. Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out electrical testing (EICRs) in social housing properties in line with the provided schedule
- Completing around 4 properties per day on average
- Identifying faults, risks, and non-compliant installations, ensuring they are clearly recorded
- Undertaking remedial works, repairs, rewires, and adaptations where required
- Submitting reports and results within agreed timeframes
- Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations, health & safety standards, and company procedures
- Communicating effectively with tenants, maintaining a professional and respectful approach at all times
- Working closely with the wider site team, supervisors, and coordinators to ensure smooth delivery of the programme
- Managing your daily workload and route efficiently to maximise productivity
- Reporting any issues, access problems, or risks promptly to the relevant teams

- ECS Card
- 18th Edition qualification
- 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing Certificate of calibration
- Proven experience in electrical testing within domestic or social housing properties
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Own tools
