Summary: The role of Electrical Tester involves joining a long-term project in Aldermaston, focusing on testing installations in a new build of a large social hub within an MOD base. The project is expected to run until December 2026, with working hours from 07:00 AM to 04:30 PM, totaling 45 hours per week. Candidates must meet specific qualifications and pass medical and background checks before starting work on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing on all installations in a new build of a large social hub.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during testing.
- Complete required medical and D&A tests, along with a clean DBS check.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of testing tasks.
Key Skills:
- JIB Gold card or equivalent.
- IPAF certification.
- 291 Test & Inspection qualification.
- No spent or unspent criminal convictions.
- Experience in testing on large commercial/industrial projects.
Salary (Rate): £33.80 hourly

The work will consist of testing all installations on a brand new build of a large social hub, within an MOD base.
Hours: 07:00AM - 04:30PM - 45 hours per week.
Pay: £33.80 per hour (CIS or Ltd)
Requirements
- JIB Gold card or equivalent
- IPAF
- 291 Test & Inspection
- No spent or unspent criminal convictions.
- Experience testing on large commercial/industrial projects
Due to the nature of the site. All successful candidates will require a medical, D&A test, and clean DBS check prior to them entering the site. We expect the turnaround on this to be 1-2 weeks.
Long term work expected to run until December 2026.
