Summary: The Electrical Technician role is a contract position for 6 months, focused on installation activities within a leading Nuclear project at the Burghfield Site. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications and experience, including a CSCS/ECS card and eligibility for SC clearance. The role requires compliance with health and safety standards and participation in planning and preparation of works. A per diem is provided for travel exceeding 30 miles to the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the planning and preparation of works, including production of RAMS.
• Carry out work in accordance with work packs and applicable trade/legal standards.
• Comply with health and safety requirements of the work pack or work area.
• Conduct safety and behavioral observations.
• Adhere to quality requirements of the work pack.
• Report any defects, damage, safety hazards, or other problems to the line manager.
• Perform any other tasks/duties as directed by the line manager.

Key Skills:

• Site installation experience in the Nuclear Industry/Power Generation (preferred).
• Level 3 Qualification (e.g., Recognised Training Scheme or Apprenticeship) appropriate to trade.
• CSCS/ECS Card relevant to qualifications and role (mandatory for site access).
• Knowledge of BS 7671:2008 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Knowledge of BS 2391-52 Inspection & Testing.
