Summary: The Electrical Supervisor will lead electrical works on a large-scale commercial project, ensuring installations are completed safely, on time, and to high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate day to day electrical activities on site
- Manage electricians and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and efficiency
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations, standards, and project specifications
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks
- Maintain a strong focus on health & safety, enforcing safe working practices at all times
- Liaise with project managers, site managers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and regulations
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification (preferred)
- ECS/CSCS card (required)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong organisational and problem solving abilities
