Electrical Supervisor - Contract Role

Summary: The Electrical Supervisor role involves overseeing electrical commissioning and inspection for a significant Energy from Waste project in Cheshire. This position is strictly supervisory, focusing on quality assurance, health and safety compliance, and project progress monitoring. The successful candidate will ensure adherence to industry standards without engaging in hands-on electrical work. The role is offered on a freelance contract basis, outside IR35 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise contractor activities and ensure compliance with quality, health & safety regulations.
• Oversee electrical commissioning and inspection processes.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring all work aligns with timelines and expectations.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Provide regular reports on project status and regulatory compliance.

Key Skills:

• Electrical qualifications (HNC/HND preferred).
• Recognized Health & Safety certification (preferred).
• First Aid at Work & Fire Marshal certificate (advantageous).
• HV work, utilities, general electrical background.
• A solid track record in similar projects (battery, solar, wind energy, etc.).
• Prior experience with Energy from Waste projects.
