Summary: The Electrical Site Quality Engineer role at Pembroke Power Station involves overseeing QA/QC activities for electrical works to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily surveillance of electrical works, notifying the client Site Manager of any schedule delays or deviations from specifications.
- Witness contractor quality checks in accordance with Site Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Sign off contractor quality documentation on behalf of the client after successful inspections.
- Record punch-list items and submit them to the client Site Manager using the approved template.
- Avoid issuing punch-lists or reports directly to contractors or subcontractors.
Key Skills:
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport.
- Proven QA/QC experience in major electrical installations.
- Strong understanding of inspection documentation and client-side protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a regulated, high-safety environment.
