Summary: The Electrical Site Manager will oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems at the SeAH Wind Monopile Factory in Teesside, a significant renewable energy project. This role involves managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving the project to completion on schedule. The position is critical for the successful delivery of infrastructure that supports the UK's offshore wind initiatives. The contract is for six months with potential for extension, and the role is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise electrical works on site, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications.
  • Oversee subcontractors and coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth delivery of electrical scope.
  • Monitor progress, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with health & safety (HSE) standards and IEE regulations.
  • Liaise with project management, design teams, and client representatives.
  • Track and report on work progress, variations, and resolve any site-based issues.
  • Ensure all installations meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee commissioning and handover of electrical systems.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager or Supervisor on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations, switchgear, cabling, containment systems, etc.
  • Valid ECS/CSCS card.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
  • First Aid at Work (in-date).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
