Bureau Veritas are excited to say that we have an opportunity for an Electrical Inspector to join us on a prestigious UK Defence project based near Reading, UK. The role is located at a highly secure working site and will require Security Clearance and therefore successful candidates must be a British Born UK passport holder.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Site-based, carrying out detailed Electrical Safety checks & inspections and delivering inspection reports.
- Attending meetings or reviewing paperwork, eg. inspection test plans or lifetime quality records
- C&G Part 1, 2 & 3 electrical installation qualification OR HND / HNC.
- C&G 2391/2392 Inspection and Testing certificate and 17th/18th Edition regs required.
- Minimum 10yrs relevant Electrical industry experience, ideally 5 of which have involved testing and inspecting electrical installations / ATEX inspections
- Held / currently hold SC clearance or eligible for SC clearance (must have been residing & working in the UK for the last 5years)
- Min 5yrs working knowledge of UK requirements for Electrical Inspection within the nuclear industry or transferable experience from another high hazard industry including Oil & Gas. Heavy Industry, Construction, Renewables sectors.
