Electrical Project Manager

Summary: The Electrical Project Manager role at Canary Wharf involves overseeing the full lifecycle of electrical installations for fit-out projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Develop project schedules, resource plans, and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with BS7671, Health & Safety regulations, and project-specific requirements.
• Manage procurement of materials, labour, and services.
• Track project progress and report to senior management.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any technical or logistical issues.
• Prepare and present documentation including RAMS, variations, and final handover packs.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally in commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Qualified Electrician background (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2, etc.).
• SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS card required.
• Strong understanding of electrical design, installations, and testing procedures.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient with MS Project, Excel, and project management software.
