Summary: The Electrical Project Manager will lead and deliver Solar and EV charging infrastructure projects across the UK on a contract basis. This role requires a proactive professional with a strong electrical construction background and a commitment to sustainable energy. The position involves overseeing project lifecycles, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The contract is initially for six months, with potential for extension or permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of EV charging projects – from planning and procurement to installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Manage site HSE compliance, quality control, and technical documentation.
- Work closely with DNO.
- Provide leadership to site teams and ensure alignment with project goals and industry standards.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience managing electrical infrastructure or EV charging projects.
- Must come from an Electrical background.
- Strong knowledge of BS7671 wiring regulations and NICEIC standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and site drawings.
- Excellent project coordination and communication skills.
- ECS / CSCS, SMSTS or equivalent certification (preferred).
