Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical wiring, assembly, inspection, and testing of products
  • Certify products in line with the product certification procedure
  • Maintain certification and approval standards through regular audits
  • Apply a versatile skill base across a variety of manufacturing tasks
  • Operate and maintain equipment, tools, gauges, and measuring instruments
  • Ensure manufacturing build times, inspection schedules, and test targets are met
  • Complete all paperwork associated with manufacturing data packs accurately
  • Uphold the highest standards of workmanship and product quality
  • Ensure compliance with all manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
  • Share best practices with team members to improve efficiency and quality

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in electrical manufacturing, wiring, and assembly
  • Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 / TR23 / TR21 / HNC)
  • Experience as a skilled person within a production environment
