Summary: The Electrical Manager will lead electrical operations for a high-end residential project, overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate electrical work for a residential construction project.
- Manage and lead a team of electricians and subcontractors to ensure the timely completion of electrical installations.
- Review and approve electrical plans, ensuring they meet local codes and regulations.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, panels, and appliances.
- Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and in compliance with industry standards.
- Work closely with the project manager, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall project.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates and reports on progress.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that may arise during construction.
- Ensure proper documentation and records of work performed and materials used.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained throughout the project.
Key Skills:
- Gold ECS at least
- SMSTS
- Proven experience as an Electrical Manager or similar role in residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Previous experience in managing teams and coordinating with multiple trades on residential projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
