Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair, and fault-find on plant and machinery using various maintenance disciplines.
  • Contribute toward machine efficiency and development programmes using existing maintenance programmes and CI methodologies including 5 why analysis.
  • Complete preventative maintenance inspections and identify and implement action plans needed to stop reoccurring faults.
  • Completion of Risk assessments and equipment isolation procedures.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a maintenance technician in a busy, high volume manufacturing environment.
  • Recognised apprenticeship in a suitable discipline and ideally educated to HNC level.
  • Electrically biased with experience in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Experienced in fault finding and repairs in Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
  • Servicing and repair of gearboxes and other large mechanical equipment.
  • Workshop skills including welding, fabrication, and use of workshop equipment including a lathe, milling machine, and pillar drill.
