Key Responsibilities:

- Ensuring safe working practices and maintaining full communication.
- Involvement in projects for effective engineering installation and commissioning.
- PLC fault finding.
Key Skills:
- A formal qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (apprentice served, NVQ, HNC or equivalent).
- Strong electrical experience, preferably within an FMCG environment.
- Knowledge and experience of working with controls, analysing faults, and providing solutions.
- Experience in both reactive and preventative maintenance.
- Good technical ability related to automation hardware and software.
- Strong organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplined team with varying levels of technical experience.

Job Description - Electrical maintenance engineer
My Client is a leading manufacturing site looking for Electrical maintenance engineer with FMCG experience to join on a 6 month contract basis.
Duties as a Electrical maintenance engineer:
- Reacting to breakdowns both electrically and mechanically, fault finding, analysing and continuously improving the site.
- Work closely with other departments to improve the site.
- Attend meetings as required, analyse data and find solutions to improve equipment performance whilst ensuring safe working practice and full communications are maintained at all times.
- In addition, you will be involved in projects within the business to develop an effective engineering install and commissioning.
