Summary: The role of Electrical Low Voltage Appointed Person (LVAP) involves supervising and managing subcontractors on large capital delivery projects in the water and wastewater sector across Nottinghamshire. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality policies while maintaining project performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors
  • Supervision of in-house project labour resources
  • HSEQ control and monitoring
  • Liaison with the client representatives
  • Identifying and planning installation resource needs for projects
  • Writing Method Statements
  • Writing Risk Assessments
  • Liaison with line management on project performance
  • Implementation of company safety, health, environmental and quality policies
  • Ensuring and maintaining an acceptable quality of outputs
  • Reviewing and issuing relevant permits to undertake works

Key Skills:

  • 18th Edition certification
  • Experience in the water or wastewater industry
  • SMSTS/SSSTS certification
  • Experience writing method statements, risk assessments, and health & safety documentation
  • Current AP status
  • Valid full UK driving licence
