Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation DesignerDuration: 6 MonthsLocation: Clitheroe, UK (onsite role) - 3 days a weekInside IR35Job Purpose:Will be responsible for the creation and development of electrical and instrumentation design drawings, construction and demolition requirements, identification of testing requirements and to assist with troubleshooting of modifications and new installations. This role supports the sites continuous improvement activities as well as supporting new Capital Project developments to meet business and site needs.Principal Accountabilities:Estimation of costings for E/I design and installationDesign and modification of schematic diagrams, single line diagrams, loop drawings, cable routing drawings, panel layout drawings, block cable diagrams, motor control centersDrafting of scopes of work, bill of materials, termination schedules, equipment data sheets, cable schedules, labeling schedules, proof testing documents, cable transfer documentsSupporting the installation supervisor by providing design packs and technical support as required.Conducting FATs on site and at supplier locationsReporting of work status to management in regular briefingsSelf-manage and progress design office requests to an agreed priority listScope:Contributing to Hazard Studies, LOPAs, design reviews, and project reviewsObtain quotations and place orders for panel builds, instrumentation, and installation servicesLiaising with suppliers to obtain technical data and supportHosting visits from suppliersWorking with onsite customers from projects, production, maintenance, and support departments to ensure that the design meets the requirements of the end-use
