Summary: The Electrical Engineer/SCADA role involves supporting the telecoms scope and managing cyber security assessments for a major offshore wind farm developer in Poland. The position requires coordination with various teams and stakeholders, including the Ministry of Defence, to ensure the integration of communication systems and SCADA design. The candidate will also provide backup support to other engineers and assist in the installation and testing of auxiliary systems. A strong background in electrical engineering and relevant experience is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Telecoms scope - weekly meeting and follow up actions, support interface management between ONS ONS/WTG Telecoms.
- Lead topic of cyber security cyber risk assessments including review of documentation, cyber FAT/SAT testing, lead coordination with client cyber team.
- General management of project fibre splice plans and coordination to ensure all systems are integrated.
- Attend FATs as required.
- Lead discussions with Ministry of Defence regarding project security systems.
- Provide back up support to LV engineer and Telecoms engineers.
- Support integration of radars/network connections cross packages.
- Support with install of communication systems - radio Tetra, 4G and ensure interfaces are managed.
- Manage integration of FOU ICCP.
- Support SCADA design review cross packages and attend FATS as required.
- Support OWF SCADA integration and procurement process if external company provides solutions.
- Support with design and testing of auxiliary systems such as weather stations/ Nav aids etc.
Key Skills:
- Engineering degree at M.Sc. level or similar, in electrical engineering/power systems engineering.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
