Summary: The Electrical Engineer Platform Systems role is based in Scotstoun and involves hybrid working arrangements. The role includes design activities, technical analyses, and process improvements, contributing to the overall engineering team performance. This is a 6-month contract position with an hourly rate of £33.92, classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective application of processes for design, modifications, and improvements in electrical systems.
• Develop design specifications and carry out design activities in line with quality and technical standards.
• Participate in developing and modifying engineering processes and procedures.
• Conduct technical analyses and investigations, preparing reports with recommendations.
• Prepare technical equipment specifications and develop designs in accordance with standards.
• Contribute to process improvement within the engineering team.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers on engineering matters.
• Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
• Make engineering decisions within own responsibility.
• Answer technical queries related to own work.

Key Skills:

• Degree qualified in technology, engineering, or a science-related discipline.
• Working towards registration as Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer.
• Good knowledge of electrical engineering aspects.
• Able to perform analysis using recognized analytical tools.
• Capability to make correct trade-off decisions.
