Summary: The role of Electrical Engineer involves providing Medium Voltage Electrical Engineering services for a 12-month period, with the option to work from either Middlesbrough or Warrington. Key Responsibilities:
- Site surveys, visits, and client meetings
- Electrical cable routing drawings & cable schedules
- Electrical Engineering Design
- Electrical cable diagrams, Loop diagrams
- Electrical installation Scope of Work documents
- Electrical datasheets
- Checking and approval of Engineering Design
- Prepare vendor packs for invitation to tender and vendor liaison
- Technical evaluations of estimates
- Liaise with other disciplines to coordinate requirements for vendor packages and design
- Technical assistance on equipment specifications and compliance of bids
Key Skills:
- Relevant qualifications within EC&I, minimum of an HNC, preferably a degree
- Experience of relevant HV/MV up to 33KV calculations
- Problem-solving skills and ability to ensure projects remain to specification within set timescales and budget
- Good working knowledge of ATEX Directives for selection of electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas
- Experience attending and representing at Project Meetings with stakeholders
- Distribution and motor control experience
- Experience of Pro/Engineer software
- Demonstrable experience of UK onshore HV Electrical Engineering within a COMAH environment

Outside IR35 My Client is seeking a contractor to provide Medium Voltage Electrical Engineering services for a period of 12 months. This service can be provided from either Middlesbrough, Warrington.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Site, surveys, visits and client meetings
- Electrical Cable routing drawings & cable schedules
- Electrical Engineering Design
- Electrical cable diagrams, Loop diagrams
- Electrical installation Scope of Work documents
- Electrical datasheets
- Checking and approval of Engineering Design
- Prepare vendor packs for invitation to tender and vendor liaison
- Technical evaluations of estimates
- Liaise with other disciplines; process, piping, mechanical, civil structural to co-ordinate requirements for vendor packages and design
- Technical assistance on equipment specifications and compliance of bids
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- You must possess suitable and relevant qualifications within EC&I, minimum of an HNC preferably a degree.
- Experience of relevant HV/MV upto 33KV calculations, problem solving and ensuring projects remain to specification within set timescales and to budget
- A good working knowledge of ATEX Directives for selection of electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas would be beneficial.
- You must have experience attending and representing at Project Meetings with a range of stakeholders.
- Distribution and motor control experience is desirable as is experience of Pro / Engineer software
- Demonstrable experience of UK onshore HV Electrical Engineering within a COMAH environment.
