Key Responsibilities:
- Re-design electrical harnesses to suit system layout using OEM harness design references.
- Ensure routing, bundling, and termination meet project requirements and standards.
- Identify and select suitable bulkhead connectors for enclosure interfaces.
- Collaborate with clients to agree on specifications and integration approach.
- Liaise with supply chain to manage lead-times against project schedules.
- Produce detailed electrical drawings and schematics using CAD/ECAD tools.
- Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs) for harnesses and connectors.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with project standards.
- Work closely with mechanical and systems engineering teams to ensure harnesses fit within physical constraints.
- Adhere to relevant standards, regulations, and project-specific requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
- Utilize TE Harnware or equivalent harness design software.
