Summary: The CE Electrical Engineer role is a contract position focused on maintaining and operating electrical systems in a critical data center environment in Middenmeer, Netherlands. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide escort support for third-party contractors and vendors on site.
- Perform tasks such as daily rounds and initial assessments of equipment performance.
- Conduct basic monitoring of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
- Assist in emergency monitoring and response to abnormal conditions using established procedures.
- Take daily operational readings of electrical equipment, including temperatures, voltages, and currents.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for planned work activities in a critical environment.
- Support electrical infrastructures across the data center campus.
- Assist in the troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of instrument sensors.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and physical security policies.
Key Skills:
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of work or applied learning experience in technical fields such as automotive, electrical, controls, or data centers.
- Previous data center experience.
- Experience with electrical systems in a high-availability or critical infrastructure environment.

- A fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.

Work Environment
This role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, which could include 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, or 3-, 4-, or 5-day work weeks. Core business hours are between 7 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Friday. A supplier-provided Windows 11 compatible laptop and specified Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are required for this position.
