Key Responsibilities:
- Produce reports and drawings related to electrical designs.
- Design and conceptualize grid connections and private network infrastructure from LV to 132kV.
- Conduct cable sizing studies and select switchgear and transformers.
- Perform CT and VT sizing studies and battery charger sizing studies.
- Design small power and lighting systems.
- Layout design for control rooms and switchrooms.
- Ensure designs comply with EP policies, UK standards, DNO/IDNO policies, and employer's requirements.
- Issue deliverables in line with project timelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Background in Contracting/Consulting or working with IDNOs, DNOs, or ICPs.
- HV/EHV experience.
- Familiarity with BSEN, IEC, IEEE, and CENELEC Standards.
- Experience in Power Systems Studies.
