Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute laboratory test plans for AMI 2.0 meters and ancillary metering devices.
- Coordinate with Laboratory Technicians to perform testing and validation activities.
- Evaluate metering equipment performance and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards.
- Support installation and testing of both single-phase and polyphase electrical meters.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues during testing activities.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams to maintain quality standards throughout deployment.
- Apply safe laboratory practices and testing methodologies during complex evaluations.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and recommendations based on testing outcomes.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of CPUC regulatory requirements.

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support laboratory testing and validation activities for AMI 2.0 metering systems and associated electrical metering devices.
This position will play a key role in developing and executing comprehensive test plans while ensuring compliance with CPUC regulations, ANSI C12 standards, and applicable National Electrical Code requirements.
