Summary: The Electrical/Electronic Equipment Manager is responsible for the timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of critical missile equipment within a development programme. This role involves project management of electrical/electronic equipment, managing relationships with design authorities and customers, and overseeing budget and compliance issues. The position requires collaboration with a dedicated team and may involve travel to suppliers and other sites. A degree in electrical/electronic engineering or a related field is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage delivery of electrical/electronic equipment during development, qualification, and manufacture.
- Manage project relationship with internal & external design authorities/customers for delivery of the equipment hardware, software, and work to schedule, cost, quality, and performance.
- Produce Statement(s) of Work and review qualification verification evidence.
- Track and resolve non-compliances.
- Arrange design reviews with appropriate partners.
- Control of assigned budget(s) and work package management.
- Handle risks and opportunities.
Key Skills:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in electrical/electronic engineering or a related subject.
- Experience in project management of electrical/electronic equipment.
- Strong understanding of hardware and software delivery processes.
- Ability to manage relationships with design authorities and customers.
- Experience in budget management and compliance tracking.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
