Summary: The role of Electrical Design Engineer involves working on infrastructure design within heavy industry, specifically focusing on electrical systems. The position is a hybrid role based in Glasgow, requiring three days on-site work per week. Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical infrastructure systems including HVAC, Fire and Gas systems, Lighting, safety shutdown systems, and power distribution.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Utilize AutoCAD Electrical for design purposes.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver projects within the heavy industry sector.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical.
- Knowledge of control systems.
- Experience in electrical infrastructure design.
- Familiarity with statutory compliance.
- Experience in Marine or Oil & Gas industries (desirable).
- Experience working within an ATEX environment (desirable).
