Summary: The role of EC&I Designer involves supporting Lead and Senior Engineers in the production of Electrical Controls and Instrumentation designs for projects within the Oil & Gas sector, specifically focusing on Gas Transmission infrastructure. The position requires ensuring quality in design deliverables and participating in design reviews while managing changes in design scope. The role is available in both permanent and contract forms and is based in Warrington with hybrid working arrangements. Candidates should have relevant experience in EC&I design within multi-discipline engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Lead and Senior Engineers in EC&I design production for Gas Transmission projects.
  • Ensure quality of EC&I design and manage design deliverables within budget and planning.
  • Participate in internal and external design reviews.
  • Identify changes to design scope and report to Lead/Senior Engineer.
  • Drive quality in all engineering designs and check discipline design deliverables.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in EC&I design within single or multi-discipline engineering.
  • Familiarity with EPCM or EPC projects, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as required.
