Vallum Associates are currently partnered with a client to staff a commissioning team for an Energy From Waste Plant in England. They are looking for two Electrical Commissioning Engineer's HV / LV

Expectation/Requirements

  • An electrical engineer who is experienced with HV systems and has previously been involved in isolation and switching of these systems.
  • Deputy to the lead electrical engineer and have the necessary skills to commissioning electrical systems from the HV down.
  • The client does not expect these engineers to carry out the HV testing, but they must be able to drive the commissioning through the distribution system on site.
  • They should be able to act as an electrical SAP and be work within the site safety rules.
  • Experience in commissioning on EFW, Biomass or conventional power plants is essential.

Details

  • Contract: February 2026 - October 2026
  • Schedule: 5 days a week 10 hours a day, During Hot commissioning 10 days on 4 days off.
  • Outside IR35 - All in Daily Rate
  • Right to work in the UK required
